POLLUTION!!!!??
Pollution
Post 1: Pedestrian VS Passengers
Pedestrians inhale in more pollution as compared to passengers because pedestrians are directly exposed to the air pollutant produced by the vehcile while the passengers are protected by being in the vehicle.
Lecture 1: The air that we breathe
The air contains nitrogen, oxygen and small amounts of other gases. Some of them can be harmful.
Pollutants
Pollutants can be found in the air around us. But is it more hazardous for pedestrians or passengers in cars? The factors we may consider is the percentage and ppm of the pollutant. We can assume that the pollutants can be found both in and out of vehicles. But vehicles would have a smaller volume of air and the percentage of pollutants will be higher in vehicles than in the environment. Thus, it suggests that passengers inhale more pollutants than pedestrians.
